Social Walks is back for 2026! Come join us for a beautiful walk through the lush wetlands, open grasslands and tree-lined trails of Jells Park, one of Melbourne’s most loved suburban nature reserves. This relaxed yet engaging hike is the perfect way to start your Sunday off connecting with nature and with great people.

This scenic loop walk offers a wonderful mix of lake views, native birdlife and peaceful bushland tracks, all within a short distance from the city.

📍 Meeting Point: Jells Park Main Car Park (Waverley Rd entrance, Wheelers Hill VIC)
📏 Distance: Approx. 10km loop
🚶 Difficulty: Moderate - Suitable for most fitness levels while keeping a social pace

• Take the Glen Waverley Line to Glen Waverley Station
• Travel time: 36 minutes (15 stops)
• Walk to the bus interchange on Railway Parade 🚶

🚌 Bus From Glen Waverley Station / Railway Parade (Bay 5)

• Catch Bus 754 (towards Rowville)
• Ride for 10 minutes (14 stops)
• 🚶 Final Walk Get off Strickland Drive / Jells Road, Wheelers Hill
• Walk 950m

AFTER THE WALK 🍻

We’ll finish back at Jells Park in the early afternoon where we will head to a cafe to grab a coffee with our fellow Social Walkers to celebrate a great day out.
